Step Out Of The Gate of Time

Let me explain first what I mean by stepping out of the gate of time. What I call constellational astrology aka sidereal astrology focuses on whats going on in our galaxy and our interactions with higher consciousness as galactic beings vs what is happening 'to us' by cosmic influence alone as beings of earth. One has to step out of ordinary earth bound and focused reality to be able to channel this galactic energy information through our beings which requires effort and a different focus--a shamanic one. During this full moon in sidereal Orphiucus (some astrologers will assign this moon to sidereal Scorpio) cosmic forces are supporting efforts to step out of ordinary reality for quantum healing. I've spoken at length in another blog on this site about the healer Orphiucus. However just to review, there a little known constellation that lays tucked away in what otherwise is considered the constellation of Scorpio. The name of the constellation is Orphiucus--the serpent holder. Orphiucus has a long history with ancient astrologers/astronomers who recognized and honored him originally by Khamites (some call Egyptians) as Imhotep the Sheps ancestor of healers (the medical establishment still uses the serpent holder's caduceus as a symbol of their profession) and builders who are even today inspired and touched by the NTRU Sekhmet and Ptah as Im Hotep was their child. Most don't acknowledge Orphiucus/Im Hotep who holds a major key of being able to step out of ordinary reality to transform and become the Phoenix. During Orphiucus planetary transits we can effortlessly surrender all the baggage and ineffectual processes that hold us back. We're revisiting planetary sensitive points (the sun, venus, mercury, and mars are all in constellational points which encourage understanding and following destiny, changing fate, and healing old wounds especially connected to financial hardship past or present). Generous cosmic help is available if one is sensitive to the messages one hears over the next 3 days. The full moon is connected to the sense of hearing and to ages 14.09-18.05 years of age ; 44.03-47.11 years of age; and 73.09-77.05 years of age. Listen to what people in these age groups are saying as a collective voice or if you are in these age groups this is a good time create rituals around releasing mistakes connected to financial issues made during these personal cycles. This can also be a time of unrecoverable losses financially. So be it. What is leaving needs to leave from a cosmic standpoint. If you are able to release resistance, by the time the solar cycle of sidereal Scorpio/Orphiucus comes around in November you'll understand more and will be able to rebuild in a wholistic way. Orphiucus is that Phoenix that all astrologers talk about as being the ultimate aim of Scorpionic energy. This full moon invites us in our rituals and prayers to celebrate our capacity to be that now.

New Moon Sidereal Taurus

New moon in sidereal Taurus in the lunar mansion of Rohini. Rohini brings blessings of wealth and abundance (think Laksmi, Osun & Het Heru), sensuality, protection and healthy self indulgence. A good time to respect the needs of the body and the real yearnings of the heart. New moon is a great time to set your intentions for fulfillment of true desires. Connected to ages 0.0 years - 3.08; 29.06-33.02 and 59.00-62.08. Can easily begin to clear old hardship programming and imprint new frequencies now. This is also a time to do rituals of thanksgiving and healing for our beautiful Mother Earth and spend time with her for our own renewal and connection to what is real. The Difficult Choices of Cutting Through

We’ve come a long way in understanding what our needs are through this year’s lunar cycle and now we are faced with what is worthy of keeping. The cosmic message now seems to be to fight for what is fair and just and leave the rest for recycling. The strong energies are Taurus, Libra, and Venus. All of these energies are the domain of Het Heru. She is always asking us to delve more deeply into bliss—no matter what and in this case the bliss of right action—what will bring long term wellbeing. If you’ve been struggling with questions of what is truly right for you now is the time to look to your relationships for answers. It’s time to ask what relationships are dragging you down, especially financial arrangements. Which of these are we keeping or following that are not working? In what way are we selling our souls for money? That is not blissful actions. The mansion (house where moon is situated at the time of the new moon) is Swati an energy that like the wind, brings the kind of change which brings freedom from constraint—no matter how attractive the constraint looks from the outside. It will be necessary to remain flexible while wielding the sword of truth and compassion for ourselves as well as others. Yes, it is necessary to make decisions that you may find uncomfortable and others will be affected. Be mindful of their feelings. Fairness and balance are the beacons that will let you know you are on the right path. The changes being contemplated and carried forth will resonate for about 6 months so be mindful of them. Work relationships are highlighted and if there is much dissatisfaction in this area it will be difficult to continue with the status quo. When I say work relationships I’m speaking of our one to one interactions not the group in general. Are you shown regularly that you are valued in your day to day interactions? Look to your own physical health (especially thyroid issues, kidneys and adrenals) which may need a boost as overwork stress and repression are likely to show up in these areas. Those of us who have made good decisions will see the fruit of these directions unfolding effortlessly because you’ve done what was necessary—it could be a time of fruitfulness, prosperity, and reward for you. The Pleiades are on the horizon of this new moon chart. In the ancient Kemetic tradition the Pleiades are known as the 7 Het Herus. As the legend goes, when a child is born the 7 Het Herus surround him or her each giving the baby a special blessing according to his or her path of fulfillment (this is the origin of the ‘fairy godmothers’ of Cinderella). Their presence at this time is an omen and reminder that it is still very possible to manifest our highest fulfillment in all areas of our lives. Take some time to listen for your own unique blessings and be open to receive them.

Solar Eclipse August 1, 2008: Moving Out Of The Shadows

A solar eclipse energy is very, very powerful and energetically influences our psyche and energy field for an extended period of time (about 6 months). Astronomically speaking a solar eclipse is when the earth moves between the moon and sun for a period of minutes creating a shadow across the sun. Through ancient shaman/medicine stories the solar eclipse represents a time of great danger when the sun (our inner light and Divinity) is challenged and must emerge victorious. The times we are in are no different. There are so many things that can take us off our center of gravity. Out of control ego (Leo) is one way of this manifesting. Another is through the downside of Cancer—i.e. getting stuck in the past, old family conditioning and pain, unhealthy emotional attachments and false senses of security. The sign or constellation suggests where we are in danger of losing our conscious awareness of who we truly are and our purpose which can waste time. Of course these lapses are temporary and it is natural for them to occur. What I’m talking about are the alternatives and healings which are available when/if these lapses do occur. Ancient peoples often sang to the sun through affirmative chants during the day of the eclipse to keep the energy within themselves aligned with the knowledge of who they truly are. The other side of this energy is that of the Goddess energy which rules this solar eclipse which are water Goddesses (Yemaya, Tefnut, and Tara come to mind). This cycle is an excellent time to expand your spiritual awareness if you are currently struggling with letting go of unhealthy attachments. Mother’s Milk is raining down on us right now. Where Is Your Wealth-Summer Solstice 2008

We enter this Summer Solstice during a time in the Kemetic lunar calendar month of Ipt Hmt where the Tantric union of divine consorts Het Heru and Heru celebrate their love for the entire month. This can serve as a reminder that in the higher realms there is cause for celebration and if we are open to it can, despite our own challenges, know that there is order and purpose behind any discomfort. We are also in the Kemetic season of Shomu, the season of harvest. What we have put our energies into during the last cycle is now bearing fruit. That being said, collectively, we are in a deep transformative time during this particular Summer Solstice. Ra’s message to us seems to revolve around how we think about resource/abundance/scarcity and how to flow with this transformative process. This solar cycle may not be an individual one where everything is bright and cheery. It very well may be a time for inward journeying cleansing, and process. As an example if you know anything about Kemetic teachings about Ra’s nightly journey through the Tuat (transformation) then you know there are 12 gates along the way that Ra must enter and face in order to proceed towards rebirth. At many of these gates/tunnels there are challenges, enemies, and danger. There are also helpers and guides who are there to assist through each challenge. However, in order to call on the assistance of each of the guides at the gate one must know their name and the formula for receiving their help. Similarly we are facing the dangers and demons around our gates that deal with resource—financial and otherwise. Questions you may want to ask yourself during this cycle (June 21-Sept 21) How do you use your resources, what are your resources? Who are your helpers during difficult times, do you know how to call on them? How do you deal with seeming loss? How do you deal with frustration over external conditions? An excellent time for self discovery, revealing true sources of wealth and support and what you want as far as creating a vision for your future. If your life is running smoothly right now (and there are those who are experiencing this now). Use this time as a time of consolidation and visioning and thanksgiving for you are in the flow of wealth (and what exactly does wealth mean to you?)

Ritual

To deepen your understanding of real wealth may I suggest a spiritual growth altar. This can be a portable one created along the north or eastern wall of your home. The suggested colors are gold and white. Each element should be represented in the appropriate direction on the altar surface. Water symbol should be in the northeast. Gold candle or lamp should be in the southeast. Earth element can be crystals or actual metals of gold (white or yellow or even monatomic gold). A picture of Gayatri, Ra, Surya, or other Deity which represents solar consciousness and illumination/Divine intelligence can also be added here to bring illumination down to a earthly ‘real’ level. Be creative. A symbol or picture for what your personal intention is for spiritual illumination for this cycle is should be placed in the center of your altar. Meditate, dance, play instruments and/or music before your altar between the time of its birth until the fall equinox especially on during the new and full moon. claim your divine intelligence and ask this part of yourself to become more conscious to you. Create and perform Tantric ceremony using this ritual space for the remainder of the summer. See your illumination in wealth consciousness grow! The Victory of Asar As Orion

In the Kemetic tradition (which is close to my heart) today is also the celebration of the successful raising of the 'Djed Pillar'--Asar's 'will to be' after his physical death. In Kemetic cosmology Ast, who is Sirius astronomically, continues to lead (from the earth's perspective) Asar, who is Orion through the heavens until this day when he is fully 'awakened'. We see this in the night sky as the three stars in Orion. The male principal is once again taking his rightful place in our lives and all can be right with the world.
