Synchronicity & Alignment

This picture says it all (thanks Getty images!) as far as why I am a practicing astrologer. Our lives move through time and space regardless of whether we are consciously in alignment with the 'higher plan' or not. And, without mastery we more often than not do not have a conscious hand in synchronizing events in our favor. Astrology or 'sky watching' whether it be from the Jyotishi's perspective, Mayan daykeeper's keen eye, the Kemetic temple priests(or priestess) oracular vision or the Western astrologer's graceful interpretaton, all works to help us with alignment. Potential realties birth themselves through us and wait our direction--astrology is an ancient language through which the cosmos speaks to us.

Hail unto thee who art Khephra in thy hiding, even unto thee wh art Khephra in thy silence who travels over the heavens in thy bark at the midnight hour of the sun. We are blessed on this day with the Nakshatra Uttara Phalguni which is ruled by the sun (double auspicious omen!) Uttara Phalguni brings growth, opportunity for prosperity including family and friends. A day to mentally set in motion plans around leadership, alleviating the suffering around us in a loving way. Don't forgot about the lovefest between Het Heru & Heru! this star also encourages and supports long-term loving unions.

A Solstice Meditaton (given to me by Baba Rashad Alaji)Visualize the planet in its current chaotic state, Now begin to see yourself amidst this chaos as order in the midst of this chaotic environment. Visualize people you know who are doing positive things to heal the word, people who are doing exactly what they came here to do people who are on purpose. Visualize yourself how you have begun to know your purpose and all of the wonderful things unfolding as you walk this purpose. The intent for the meditation on this day (for the next 3 days in fact) is to clearly begin the focus on the greatness of your purpose and potential and how the Most High chose you to accomplish something no one else can do but you based on your personality, character and talents. Ipet Hmt-A Time For Love

I like to work with sidereal and Tantric astrology (Vedic/jyotish). Why? Its just more fun to me and speaks more directly to me. I also have a deep love/admiration for my Nubian Khamite ancestors understanding of deep spiritual astronomical/astrological connections and alignments and therefore will be including the lunar Khamite ritual calendar in my musings. This new moon begins a 2 week love fest in the heavens when Het Heru, female Khamite Divine Principle of bliss consciousness visits her beloved, Heru Divine Principle of directed and victorious Will, the Hero. A good time for rituals of love, healing and forgiveness, determination, not to mentioned hot, steamy, blissful magically oriented sex unions! Out of this union, Ihy will be born 10 moons from now. What really turns you on? Directed passions will do well here. The Tantric new moon's star is Mrigashira (sidereal Gemini & Taurus), one of the most auspicious times for love unions and marriage to be solidified under. Also an excellent time to renew an energetic commitment to a path/direction if the passion is there.

Buddhi (Mercury) is doing his thing with backward motion right now. In Jyotish, retrograde motions strengthens a planet so for me this time with Mercury in sidereal Gemini I won't try to intellectualize anything just trust my intuition and inner thought processes as much as I can. Interesting that I started my blog during this retrograde, hmmm. More to come.
