Return Of The Morning Star & The Next Stage of Rebirth Continues...

There were two important stellar happenings this past weekend of note; Venus aka "The Morning & Evening Star" went direct after being retrograde since the end of July is one. Although Venus in the West is thought of as feminine, in Vedic/Tantric and Egyptian cosmology it is a he. To be exact, in Egyptian (Khamite) he is the Bennu bird--aka Asar (Osiris). The Bennu bird is also the phoeniex who rises from the ashes of destruction as a beautiful colorful bird. Asar was shamanically destroyed and lovingly resurrected by his beloved sisters Ast (Isis) and Nebt Het or Nepthys. His story is one of eternal love, fructification long after the seeming "prime of life" While alive he taught culture, agriculture, right governance and compassion throughout the known world. He also had to wrestle his own demons and master his fears while in the underworld called Amenta. He makes his re-appearance in sidereal Cancer 22 degrees. Tantrically this is in the Nakshatra (lunar mansion, degree, which ever you feel comfortable with) of Ashlesha the serpent, a very potent type of kundalini energy at our disposal here. We have the power of attraction, magnetism and command as a result of this latest retrograde. The caution is to not get caught up in our schemes and fall into the temptations of the past. Use this power to build culture--whatever that means for you and you are blessed naturally by Venus.

The other important cosmic trigger this weekend was the direct motion of Pluto--king of the underworld and transformation (see a pattern here). I feel Pluto in the Khamite legacy is the scarab Kheperi--which means "coming into being" and is associated with rebirth and transformation* The dung beetle or scarab rolls around a patch of dung and hatches their young from this pile of seeming refuse. The message for me is clear; our lives are a constant refining of transformation and opportunity for rebirth and no matter how 'shitty' our lives get it can be used as the ground for a new day! Pluto makes its return appearance sidereally in the early degrees of Sagittarius near the all important galatic center (point of spiritual essence and nourishment) in the Nakshatra of Mula. Here if we did our 'work' during the retrograde either consciously or not, we have been able to get to the root of our deepest issues and come to terms with our deepest misfortune. From here we can take the healing we are receiving to new heights in a new life. If it has been a difficult journey, take heart, the healing is firmly rooted now.
